Everyone Loves A Parade! Join the merriment and be a part of the world-famous 84th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 25, 2010. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is for two (2) lucky people (ages 18+) to participate in the parade as official Balloon Handlers supporting one of the famous character balloons down the 3-mile parade route. Viewed by over 3.5 million live spectators and over 50 million television viewers, the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is a national tradition and treasure. The parade route is a brisk 3-mile walk. Balloon Handlers have a 5:00am call time to get into costume and assist in the balloon launch. The total experience will take about 7 hours from start to finish. Parade participants must complete and sign a formal registration (mailed in the early Autumn) and must abide by parade rules, regulations and standards of conduct. Participants will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements |
